Another Night in the Woods

After having an awesome time on last year's rain-soaked camping trip, Amelia and Soren were begging to go camping again.  Luckily, our friends had reserved a great campsite on a beautiful, sunny weekend.  After Amelia pitched our tent, we all headed down to a nearby river, where the kids spent the afternoon exploring various swimming holes and playing games in the woods.  We had a fun meal around the campfire, and then Amelia read some bedtime stories to the other kids.  The next morning, we hiked up to a nearby glacier and had a mid-summer snowball fight!
