Happy Halloween!

As you can see, Amelia is very excited about her first halloween! Her auntie Zoe sent some very cute bibs and kitty hat, and she has already tried on her outfit for the big halloween party we'll go to tonight.

Party Girl

This weekend we stopped by Amelia's grandma's house to visit (the least we could do after giving her the flu!) and then went to the Alki Homestead restaurant to celebrate our friend Kirsty's birthday with some very good fried chicken. Amelia got all dressed up for the occasion.

Happy Pre-Halloween!

Amelia is gearing up for her first Halloween already. To help us all get in the spirit, she's been sporting the new pumpkin socks her grandma Elise bought her. Only 4 more days left to wait!

Visit from Sharon, Al and Ryan

This week our friends Sharon and Al came to visit us from St. Louis with their adorable baby Ryan! Ryan taught Amelia the very fun game of knocking over building blocks, over and over and over...

More Food

We do more than just feed Amelia these days, but meal time is pretty entertaining! She can now add rice cereal and bananas to her list of new foods.

Goodbye, Froggies!

This pair of froggie pj's was the first outfit Daddy bought for Amelia. Sadly, she has officially outgrown it, she's just getting too tall too fast! As you can see, she looked very cute in it! On thus plus side of growing bigger, Amelia has taken her first trip to the playground!

Avocado Moustache

Amelia's culinary adventures continue. She had some papaya, and now some avocado. Avocado seems to be her favorite, we think she even swallowed some!

Seattle Aquarium

Over the weekend we took Amelia to the Seattle Aquarium. We didn't know if she'd get much out of it, but she really seemed to enjoy the movement of the fish and the pretty lights in the tank.

The Truth About Sweet Potatoes

First Food

Today Amelia tried her first solid food - sweet potatoes. We're not totally sure that it counts as eating a new food, however, since it's doubtful that any actually made it down her throat!

Happy Birthday Mickiala!

Mickiala is Katie's best friend since second grade, and is quickly becoming one of Amelia's best friends too. Mickiala's birthday is on Monday, but since she'll be in Mexico, we celebrated her birthday at Icon Grill on Friday night.
