Finger Dip

Amelia recently picked up a new trick for eating hummus a lot faster. She figured out how to dip crackers a few months ago, but realized that her fingers are a far more efficient dipping tool...

Seattle Girl

As everyone knows, kids in Seattle start drinking coffee along with their mothers' milk. Amelia got a bit of a late start, but now she's asking for coffee every day.







Actually, we're not quite ready to let her have coffee, so she's taken to drinking her milk out of a coffee cup.

Snowy December Days

We received approximately a foot and a half of snow during the last ten days of December - a lot of snow for most places, but a massive amount for Seattle. Amelia had experienced a bit of light snow before, but this was a whole new experience for her! She liked the snow at first, but wasn't so crazy about it once it was up to her knees.

Holiday Fun

We all had a fun time over the holidays, especially with Chanukah and Christmas both falling at the same time. Amelia really enjoyed opening presents and she received some really neat ones (we'll have a video of one up shortly). She spent a lot of time with her grandmother Elise (Goggy) and her Uncle Davie, and we managed to find Christmas crackers for everyone, though we didn't use them until New Year's Eve and New Year's Day!
