Merry Christmas!

Judging by the amount of panting she did at the sight of her presents, Amelia's first Christmas was a great success! It was even a white Christmas (briefly, anyway) here in Seattle.

Sweater from Nana

Amelia's Nana knitted her a beautiful sweater when she was born, and it finally fits! Well, close enough. She's so cute in it, we can't resist wearing it already!

As many of you know, we love to cook elaborate meals, so you can imagine how happy we were when Amelia jumped right in to help out cooking our last feast!

Welcome, Joyce!

Amelia's new au pair arrived this week. Her name is Joyce, she is from Brazil, and she is very sweet and nice! We're very excited to have her here!

Happy Six-Month Birthday, Amelia!

First Snowstorm

Although Amelia experienced her first flurry in New Jersey, her first snowstorm was in Seattle, of all places!

Peek-a-boo!

Like all babies, Amelia loves to play peek-a-boo. We found a very sophisticated version of this game at the Manhattan Children's Museum.

And of course Amelia experienced many firsts during our trip, including her first snow, first diner, first trip to Grand Sichuan and her first pint in a pub!

New Friends

Amelia made many, many new friends on her first east coast tour!

Visit to New York & New Jersey

Amelia took her first trip to visit her east coast family in New Jersey for Thanskgiving this year. We miss them already!

This weekend Amelia went to dinner at her Grandpa Charlie and Grandma Becky's house. She had lots of fun sliding around on the slippery countertop and licking our wine glasses!

When Amelia was a newborn and we carried her around in her sling, people would stop to ask if we had a baby in there. Now she can't hide anymore!

PEPS Halloween Party
