BBQ at Grandpa's

We had a great time celebrating Grandpa's birthday. We all enjoyed some great food, but Soren decided that Grandpa and Mommy were being a little too delicate, so he took over their plates and showed them how to eat. Later on, Amelia organized some fun games involving a huge cardboard box.

July 4 in New Jersey & New York

Amelia and her Daddy took a long weekend trip back to New Jersey and New York for the July 4 weekend. Amelia spent a lot of time with her Nana, Taid, Auntie Zoe, Ken and her newest friend, Sumo the dog, as well as her Daddy's friends Sue, Tim and Matt (who got married - congrats)! She spent a lot of time by the pool, rode on a train and a carousel, did one of Taid's famous treasure hunts, and saw some great fireworks. And she was an awesome traveler!

This past weekend, we had a party to celebrate Amelia's and Soren's birthdays. Luckily, the sun decided to join us, so everyone had a fun time in the backyard, especially eating Katie's delicious cupcakes!

And, Happy First Birthday to Soren!

This may not go down in history as Soren's BEST birthday ever, what with all the shots he got this morning and the fact that he got his presents and cake yesterday along with Amelia. But, he's still our happy little guy, and we can't wait to celebrate many more birthdays with him!
