Holiday Fun

We all had a fun time over the holidays, especially with Chanukah and Christmas both falling at the same time. Amelia really enjoyed opening presents and she received some really neat ones (we'll have a video of one up shortly). She spent a lot of time with her grandmother Elise (Goggy) and her Uncle Davie, and we managed to find Christmas crackers for everyone, though we didn't use them until New Year's Eve and New Year's Day!

Amelia kept everyone entertained during Thanksgiving dinner by running in circles and surprising us each time.

Thanksgiving

Amelia's first Thanksgiving in Seattle was a lot of fun - all of her grandparents and her auntie Zoe and uncle Davie came for dinner. The centerpiece of the feast was our heritage turkey from a local farmer, which not only looked like it had once walked around and flapped its wings, but also tasted delicious!

Halloween

It's hard to believe Amelia is old enough to have celebrated two Halloweens! This year she was obsessed with "bumkies" (pumpkins) and while she liked the crocodile costume in theory, she wasn't the biggest fan of wearing the croc's head!

First Haircut

Amelia recently got her first "real" haircut. Amelia let her mom cut her bangs once, but from now on we've now decided to leave it to the pros.
