Hiking Practice

Knowing that we will be doing a lot of hiking on our trip to Southeast Asia later this year, we have decided to get some practice over the coming months. We caught a rare sunbreak this weekend and headed down to the Arboretum waterfront trail for a practice run. Soren and Amelia had a grand time splashing through puddles, saying hi to the ducks and climbing over tree stumps and piles of woodchips. We were all tired and dirty by the end of the hike - especially Soren - but everybody walked the entire trail and we all enjoyed some hot cocoa and cookies as a reward. Hopefully, the first of many successful hikes this year!
