Fun at Jeana's

This was definitely the weekend of fun with out-of-town visitors!  After picking Nana and Taid up at the airport, we headed over to our cousin Jeana's house for a fun pizza dinner with Amelia and Soren's cousins from Northern California, Sophie, Max and Gavin.  The kids had a blast testing out Jeana's hanging chairs, jumping on an enormous beanbag, and playing hide and seek with Gavin and Max.

Purim Fun

Nana and Taid arrived in Seattle to look after Amelia and Soren during Mommy and Daddy's upcoming trip to Brazil, and made sure to bring a box of hamentashen from New Jersey.  The kids polished them off by the next morning, but luckily, the JCC had a Purim festival on Sunday.  Amelia and Soren had a great time at the festival, playing carnival games, coloring pictures and making groggers.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Amelia and Soren wanted to wish everyone a very happy Valentine's Day!  Here they are, ready to head off to school in their "spirit colors" of red, white and pink, carrying the bags of cards they prepared for their friend, and with their new stuffed animals and Amelia's balloon (Soren's quickly "ran out of air," as he described it)!

Suncadia

Inspired by the massive snowstorm back East, we headed up through Snoqualmie Pass to the Suncadia resort.  While there wasn't quite as much snow as we had hoped (so no tubing), we had a lot of fun ice skating, making s'mores, and playing Soren's new game of "roller chess."

Brunch & Games

We hosted a fun brunch this past weekend with some of Mommy's oldest friends and their families, including Aveline, who was born just a day after Soren.  After chowing down on lots of fruit and pancakes, the kids took over the living room for their games, including a fun round of Busytown!
